firming chisel
A tool used in woodcutting. It consists of a quite strong blade sunken into a strong
handle and is used by hand or with a hammer. The blade is flat and bevelled and is
particularly used for removing wood in the areas that must print white.
The skew carvinq chisel is pointed, thus allowing for work in areas which end
in a sharp angle. [wood ,
