helio-relief
Helio relief is a photomechanical process for creating a wood block. most often a lightsensitive screen printing emulsion is used to create a stencil through which wood is removed by sand blasting. graphicstudio in florida named the process and says they developed it. photobrasive systems in duluth minnesota (800) 643-1037 sells a products that work well for the process that were developed for decorative abrasive blasting of glass.
