The plastic sheets have a smooth top and a smooth underside . They are used for " dry point" or monotype. Ideal to learn etching, schools, institutions , etc. With a sharp point can lines are drawn. The drawing tools can be any sharp point or an etching needle, everything that creates a line is usable.

The material is made of transparent PVC , 0.5 mm thick. Sometimes people use also perspex for this purpose. Perspex is harder than PVC , but has the disadvantage that it is likely to break. PVC is widely applicable.
