Packing and shipment
As Parcel
Packs of paper are very delicate. That is why they are sent via DPD or Post.nl between two sheets of plywood. This method of packaging is laborious and involves costs. Each pack of paper below has a link to a page with multiple dimensions of multiplex packaging. You can add a suitable package to your shopping basket

Of course you can come to Leiden to collect the paper. Please order in advance.

Simili Japon 225 gram

225 grams. 100% cellulose, light cream, smooth, satin paper with watermarks on the short side of the sheet (brand image and HOLLAND). Excellent for lithographic, calligraphy techniques and relief printing. It is lightly sized with two natural deckle edges. In the 18th century van Gelder (the producer of the paper) went to Japan to find an alternative for Japanese paper, this became Simili Japon.

Schutpapier Laurier 250 gram

Laurier paper is made of 100% cotton, weight 250 gram. a natural white paper, recommended for intaglio but also used for other printmaking techniques. As the paper is made with cotton fibres, it will give a good strength and has a soft feeling. It is engine (starch) sized (internally sized) and is alkaline buffered. Appearance is more smooth and textured than Salland. .

Laurier 250 gram

Laurier paper is made of 100% cotton, weight 250 gram. a natural white paper, recommended for intaglio but also used for other printmaking techniques.
