Transfer paper for Lithography
Directions of use:The drawing is made with lithographic crayons or with tusche diluted by solvents (no water-based material because it will disolve the gum layer on the paper.) Place a finely grained stone (or plate) on the press bed and adjust the pressure for normal printing less something like 1/2 turn. Dampen equally the entire surface of the stone. Place the transfer paper on the stone, a backing sheet, the tympan and run it through the press. Add 1/4 turn pressure and run it through the press again.Wet the back of the transfer paper, add 1/4 turn pressure and run it through the press twice. Re-wet the back of the paper and run it through the press two times (or more if there is any doubt). Generously wet the back of the transfer paper, wait a couple of minutes and gently peel off the backing of the transfer paper. Let the drawing sit overnight. Talc and etch the stone.
