This "off white" 300 grams- 140 lb, 50% cotton and 50% cellulose paper is multifunctional and will have an excellent performance for using a lot different printmaking techniques. It can be easily used for copperplate, monotype, etching, silkscreen printing and lithography but can be used as a multifunctional paper. Even for water colouring and drawing. The paper is acid free, pH neutral, chlorine free, internal sized and external sized and has 2 natural deckled edges. The surface is smooth. The warm white gives an extra detail to the design. As there are no optical brighteners, it can be used for archive quality. It meets ISO 9706 (but is not certified). The paper is made on an "hybrid" Fourdrinier machine at low speed. Very popular paper. Because of the sizing (both machine and surface sized), very good for waterbased inks, like Akua Intaglio. In the past this paper was developed by Schut as offset- and litho paper, but it proved to be a universal paper, for a reasonable price.
