This is a shellac-based stop-out Varnish. It is used as an alternative to asphalt-based stop-out varnishes. This varnish is formulated to dry immediately, and will not break down with repeated immersions in an acid bath. Its transparent red color enables you to see easily which parts of the image have already been stopped out.
User instructions: apply with a brush and let dry. If the liquid is too thin, let it stand open for a while. If the liquid is too thick, delute it with alcohol.
Remarks: this can be dangerous to your health! Flammable. If swallowed, induce vomiting by drinking warm water with salt. Contact a doctor immediately. Keep out of reach of children.
