Printmaking Paper, produced by Zerkall
Sheets in Tubes or on Rolls
|
Since many centuries paper is produced in this mill; letter paper, stationary, but also paper for the graphic arts. A special adaption of the machine makes it possible to create paper with four "deckle-edges" All the qualities are acid free, neutral sized, alkaline buffered with calcium carbonate and contain no optical brightener. They meet the requirements for permanence according to ANSI/NISO Z 39.48-1992 and DIN ISO 9706. Because each item is Mould Made with natural deckle edges, format specifications have to be regarded as approximate measurements. Besides these stock items Zerkall offers special makings for individual purposes.
Due to the water damage during the July 2021 flood, Zerkall has unfortunately decided to end production. All Zerkall paper is therefore available "until the end of stock" | |

PAY ATTENTION! The paper in the tubes is rolled up. Before use, it should be flattened by moistening the paper and keeping it flat for a while. This is also often necessary in preparation for printing. ADVICE: Only buy paper on a roll or a tube with rolled sheets if you are familiar with making sheets of paper "print-ready". The sheets should be moistened, and, alternately, kept for a while between blotting paper. In this way, the tension in the paper fibers as a result of being rolled up is removed. Any creases will also disappear as a result. |
