Preferred for etching, lithography, screen print, relief printing and embossing. Incisioni is one of the first premier printmaking papers every produced at Cartiere Magnani. Incisioni is a 50% cotton, white paper that is smooth with a slight tooth (not a plate finish). It has a soft feel, especially considering that it is both internally and externally sized. The heavyweight paper (310 gram) has gained enormous popularity as a versatile printmaking paper, especially all intaglio processes. The sheet is also very suitable for all drawing techniques; graphite pencil, pastel, pen & ink, and will fair extremely well for most wet media applications due to the internal and external sizing characteristics.
