A general printmaking paper, especially for blockprint, lithography and etching. Mould made paper, 25% cotton, 75% alpha cellulose. Machine sized and surface sized with Aquapel. Acid free, neutral sized, alkaline buffered with calcium carbonate and contain no optical brightener. They meet the requirements for permanence according to ANSI/NISO Z 39.48-1992 and DIN ISO 9706. Two natural deckle edges, no watermark. The surface is "rough" which makes it excellent for etching, but also suitable for lithography, blockprint and monotype. Surface is laid (result of mould) but hardly visible. Also suitable for screenprint, offset, typography, pastel, pencil and embossing. |
