pH
A measure of the acidity of a solution. pH 7 is neutral, lower numbers are more
acidic, higher numbers are more basic. A value on the pH scale of acidity and
alkalinity of a liquid or solution; 7.0 is neutral, 0 to 6.9 is acid, 7.1 to 14.0
is alkaline. The pH-value of a solution is pH =-log(H+). See
