Important:
Polymetaal cuts these A5 plates on a sheet metal shear by cutting A4 size through the middle. Due to the combination of soft polymer on a hard steel backing, the edge of the cutted plate is slightly rounded. This can not be avoided. If this can be an objection to you, it is better to take A4 format. We can not accept A5 plates with rounded edges being returned to us.

Bovenstaand ziet u een vergroot zijaanzicht van de KM95R fotopolymeerplaat.
Het getal 95 slaat op de dikte van het fotopolymeer in mm. De andere letteraanduidingen betreffen de soort drager en andere eigenschappen van de plaat. De totale dikte van de plaat is 1,2 mm.
De drager is een dunne staalplaat. Dan Welden maakt hiervan gebruik tijdens het uitwassen; in de "wasbak" heeft hij een magnetische plaat op de bodem gemonteerd, waardoor de fotopolymeerplaat stevig blijft liggen tijdens het uitwassen. In de flexografie is het handig omdat de plaat gemakkelijk om een drukcylinder kan worden gespannen.
Deze plaat is per stuk ingepakt in zwart plastic om ongewenste belichting te voorkomen.
