DIRECTIONS FOR USE

PREPARING THE INK

Use the ink in a relatively warm environment. Especially in wintertime it is advisable to warm the plate, making the inks more supple.

 APPLYING THE INK

Inks applied to a copper plate, can change some in colour. This depends upon the pigment used. This can only be prevented from happening by using an other pigment, which of course shows another colour. It is advisable to make a test print, when using these kind of inks. An alternative possibilty is the use of a steel or zinc plate.

INKING AND WIPING

Do not use newsprint for applying and wiping inks with light colours.

STORAGE OF MIXED COLOURS

Mixed colours can not be kept forever, unless they are kept a sealed can.

However, they can be stored for a while folded into grease-free paper inside a plastic or glass container
