Frequently used, special paper, often referred to as "Rives", with a smooth, absorbing surface, suitable for all printmaking techniques. Compared to Vélin Arches; lesser sizing, smoother and whiter surface. Produced on a mould machine, 100 % cotton. Depending on the length of the fibres, cotton is often stronger than cellulose. Weakly machine sized, (antique finish). Acid free, calcium carbonate buffered. Long lasting paper. Two deckle edges, two torn enges, watermark.
