Cranfield Printmakers’ Wax Drier reduces drying time of oil-based printing inks and improves resistance to marks and rubs once dry, so your prints will look fresh longer.It’s suitable for use with Cranfield Traditional oil based Inks and Cranfield Caligo Safe Wash Inks. It’s simple to use, the paste formula mixes easily with your printing ink using your palette knife and slab. Add maximum 3 percent.
A light powder that gives body to lithographic inks and etching inks. The ink becomes stiffer. Many lithographers use this material in the humidifying water (for stone or slab). The stone or plate therefore remains cleaner. Use a dust mask.

The Cranfield Wiping Compound & Tack reducer is a multi purpose additive that can be used for all Cranfield oil based inks, including the Caligo range of inks. It will reduce the tack of the ink but maintain the other characteristics of the ink. It also makes wiping easier. It makes ink transfer easier, even when printing without a press and on difficult paper. It contains some mineral oil and therefore add a maximum of 3% (by volume). PAY ATTENTION. This product can also be used as an alternative to Graphic Chemical's Easy Wipe. It is suitable for all oil-based etching inks.
